The Dawn Chorus / The Retrospective Soundtrack Players - Blogging all over the World

My name is Kyle. I am a happily failing indie/punk/folk/country/rock musician from Hampshire, UK. I have been singing and songwriting in The Dawn Chorus since 2005, and The Retrospective Soundtrack Players since 2010. I love these two bands like my brother/wife rolled into one. This blog details the shows I have played with both bands, in chronological order.

CCXXII - Pie & Vinyl, Southsea - 21/04/12

Saturday 21st April 2012 (Record Store Day)
Pie and Vinyl, Southsea

The Day of the Rabblement
Andrew Foster
The Retrospective Soundtrack Players
The B of the Bang

We did an in-store for Record Store Day with just myself and Mr Elliott Gregg on cajon. We did 4 songs and it was really good fun. I actually prefer playing acoustic sets that are 100% acoustic ie not plugged in. I prefer the feel of it, which is odd because I hate the whole pass-the-guitar-round-the-campfire-Counting-Crows-student-hell thing.

If you live in or near Southsea I HIGHLY recommend Pie and Vinyl - uber-friendly staff, great music selection, tasty pies, wonderful atmosphere: http://www.pieandvinyl.co.uk/
